Local people in Plains, Upperton, Greengairs and Caldercruix are inviting their fellow community members and anyone who works or delivers services in the villages to have a say on Community-led Action Plans at a series of drop in events planned over the next month. Each plan will cover a 5-year period and represent the views, vision and projects for the villages future.
Local people are leading the process of preparing the plans, supported by LEADER funded Community Action Lanarkshire (CAL), with a steering group in each community carrying out successful community wide surveys in March and April. Following on from the surveys, local people are holding open events to find out a bit more about residents’ priorities to be included in their local Community Action Plan.
Free refreshments and children’s activities, including crafts and face painters, will be provided, so please bring along the family!
