Make Your Way worked with community groups across six access routes into Chatelherault Country Park, coming from Larkhall, Quarter and Hamilton. Six artists worked with groups including: Hamilton Ramblers, Larkhall and District Volunteers, Universal Connections Larkhall, Quarter Primary School, Clydesdale Colts and Blantyre Cubs. The artists' work culminated in Celebration of the Land events held across Chatelherault and the surrounding area.

Artist, Rachel Walker, focused on the South Haugh route to the park that runs over the Old Avon Bridge, taking in the wetland landscape around South Haugh. In February she led a Spring Forward event, heralding in the spring amid stunning sunshine so early in the year. Below, Rachel shares her recipe for 'Sunshine Tea' - a refreshing mix milk and spices.
- 1 pint of any milk. Almond works well.
- 1 heaped teaspoon Ground Turmeric.
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (very important to activate Turmeric).
- Thumb sized chunk of fresh Ginger (Sliced).
- Bring all ingredients together in saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for 5 mins.
Enjoy!
