Strut away your January blues and activate your New Year's resolution with a Walk for Wellbeing around Crawford.
Walking and cycling can do wonders for our health and wellbeing, and as methods of transport they’re also good for the environment. Come join Community Action Lanarkshire on Saturday 22nd of February for a healthy walk and creative workshop as part of the ongoing Make Your Way project.
Community Action Lanarkshire and consultants from icecream architecture will lead the walk and workshop, but we are here to understand what you know about your community. We want to know: Where are existing walking and cycling routes in and around your community? Is it easy to get around - to the shops, services, work or school - by walking and cycling? Are there any secret paths or shortcuts? Where is it unsafe to walk or cycle?
The information gathered is being used to develop a new Active Travel Map and waymarked route to encourage people to travel in healthier and more sustainable ways.
