We're hoping to see lots of local children, families & friends at our upcoming events to celebrate the unveiling of our Make Your Way Map Boards in Lesmahagow - Saturday 13th May & Blackwood - Sunday 14th May
MYW was able to further support St John's Primary School - Blackwood, Blackwood Primary School, Bent Primary School - Boghead, Milton Primary School & Woodpark Primary School - Lesmahagow in their active travel journey through providing additional cycling safety equipment.
These FREE OUTDOOR events will have cycling displays from Socialtrack highlighting the importance of Led rides for adults/children/families throughout day! These events also celebrate our Make Your Way cycling project, which has engaged children from Lesmahagow, Blackwood, Kirkmuirhill & Boghead with cycling.
Saturday 13th May 2023 – 10:00 am – 2pm - The Fountain car park, Lesmahagow, ML11 0HD - Map Board unveiling at 12 noon.
Sunday 14th May 2023 – 11:00am – 2:30pm - Blackwood Primary School Carlisle Rd, Blackwood, ML11 9SB - Map Board unveiling at 1pm.

Make Your Way: Blackwood, Boghead, Kirkmuirhill and Lesmahagow is funded by Paths For All Smarter Choices Smarter Places and is focussed on raising awareness of everyday sustainable travel options by a community sourced mapping process. The project has delivered sustainable travel maps and community mapboard, cycling sessions and active travel workshops in the five local Primary Schools, Community Cycling Days and associated activities
