Action plans for sustainable and active travel in rural South Lanarkshire
Community Action Lanarkshire have worked with Urbantu over the past few months to produce Sustainable Travel Action Plans for nine communities in rural South Lanarkshire, as part of the Make Your Way project, funded by Paths for All's Smarter Choices Smarter Places fund, Lanarkshire LEADER and South Lanarkshire Council.
These Action Plans explore various ways in which active and sustainable travel could be improved and explore priorities for each area, as well as ways that they can be achieved.
We are very excited to be able to publish these plans and will now work with the communities to feedback and move actions forward where possible. Please find links to each report below.
In addition to the individual plans, a comprehensive overview report was produced setting out precisely how the project was achieved and outlines the evidence for the recommended actions.
